Having grown up in a pretty wild part of the rocky mountains, I have lost all hope in the idea that people (as a whole) have any priorities in order when it comes to wild animals... the stories of tourists in national parks getting chased by elk and bears and bison are plenty newsworthy, but the amount of like. regular people who just live there? They also do the woooorst things in the face of wildlife every single day..... ouuuugh it hurts my soul xD
